Thinking about a black form in space - 3D and 2D space - and the relationship between the negative and the positive space that we occupy. Working on a more intimate scale to bring an audience in to smaller worlds of playfulness where references to the human form exist. The black form in different spaces, imagined or readable. Those relationships - push, pull. Tying together the abstraction of afro-futurism and the history of blackness. I want to have more connections to the expression of the black form - brutalized, celebrated, sexualized.
