Starting with the Flood.  Mythology after the story is told.  A mediator between the unconscious and conscious realms.  A Psychopomp. I’ve always been interested in when art predicts science.  Both are working towards similar goals of the unknown but art doesn’t have to rely on the parameters of observation like science.  I was thinking of black holes- Stan Brakhage’s Dog Star Man and Eureka by Edgar Allen Poe. When I leave that border it transforms the surface into a sort of found object, which I’m more comfortable with. It’s an arena, simultaneously an object and a conceptual field for action to occur.
