I used our relationship as the starting point to explore larger questions - the politics of us. Centering the work around our interracial and immigrant experience. There’s always a contrast between her and I in addition to the usage of different materials. The infinitely reproducible versus the unique, the one-of-one. Where does the spirit come in?
