Sean Gerstley

Sean Gerstley (b. 1989) is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, whose interest in sculpture and interior spaces is translated using clay as his primary medium. Embracing an intuitive and mercurial approach to the his materials, Gerstley has created a world of slab and coil-built forms with pinched surfaces and unique glazes often bursting with color. Sean has produced additional side tables, lamps and vessels for his installation at COMMONWEAL that can be viewed in our design gallery.
